Privacy policy

How personal information sent through this website is collected, used and protected.

Last updated:

1. Who we are

This website, ryanbabbage.ai (the “website”), is operated by Ryan Babbage (“we”, “us”). For any privacy question or request, email contact@oceanmerge.com.

2. What we collect

Information you give us through the enquiry forms:

  • your name, email address and organisation
  • the type of enquiry
  • the markets you are interested in
  • your message

For investor enquiries, also:

  • your investor type and jurisdiction
  • your confirmations that you are an eligible investor and that you have read the “not an offer” notice

Information you send us by email or provide during a call.

Technical information processed by our service providers to deliver and protect the website, such as your IP address, browser and device type, approximate country, and security-check signals from Cloudflare Turnstile.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors. Please do not send confidential, price-sensitive or sensitive personal information (for example health information) through the forms.

3. How we use it

We use your information to:

  • reply to your enquiry and arrange any follow-up conversation
  • for investor enquiries, assess whether we can share further information
  • keep the website secure and prevent spam and abuse
  • keep records needed to meet our legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

4. Who we share it with

We share your information only as needed to run the website and reply to you:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. – website hosting, security and the Turnstile spam check
  • Resend – delivery of enquiry emails
  • the email service that hosts our inbox – where enquiries are received

We may also share it with OceanMerge®, OceanBlocks, MindGo or Stacked Up, where your enquiry concerns that venture and you would expect us to pass it on, and with professional advisers, or where the law requires it.

These providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States, the European Union and Australia. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

5. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted.
  • Enquiries that lead to an engagement or investor discussion: for as long as the relationship lasts, and then for the period the law requires.
  • Security logs held by our hosting provider: according to that provider’s standard retention.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you, and correct it
  • ask us to delete it, or restrict or object to how we use it
  • withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect earlier use)
  • receive your information in a portable form

To make a request, email contact@oceanmerge.com. We will reply within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the relevant regulator, for example the UAE Data Office, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au), or your local data-protection authority.

7. Security

We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

8. Cookies

This website sets no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the website. See the cookie notice.

9. Children

This website is not directed at people under 18.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
